Nanki's story moved me. For a moment, I thought this was a real-life incident, but then I discovered that it wasn't. An inspiring story of a determined girl and her unlikely friend and companion.
This story touched my heart. Sometimes a story like this can feel preachy or wishful thinking on author's part of too fantastical. But to me this was such a believable tale that I read all the notes at the end of the book and online to check if there really was a girl called Nanki.
Nanki's bond with the monkey added a beautiful dimension to this story. Enjoyed this read.
